The Early Years
Birth of Carr's Hot Rods and Customs
I started my career in 1972 not long after my graduation from high school. I moved from L.A. to Medford Oregon where I started working for my older brother Louie. I loved it, it was so much fun to take a car that was in rough shape and have the pride of seeing it come to life again and see the joy on the faces of the owners.
I started my own business in 1980 named Carr's Auto Body, a collision shop. I was also building rods and customs for myself and friends, always with joy and pride in every job. Those jobs were very successful.

I grew tired of the insurance work and I sold my business in 1998 deciding to open an exclusive custom shop. Carr's Hot Rods and Customs was born.
We have built many award winning cars and trucks. Custom painting has always been our specialty. We have won many painting awards, Best of shows and many others but the best part for me is all the great friends we have made. With all that said my favorite moment in building the car is to see the smiles on friends and customers faces when they see their beautiful car.
